It's Burns Night oh what do I wear?

If you are attending your first ever Burns Night then it can be a bit daunting as you wonder what on earth to wear. Or maybe you have been to a million Burn's Suppers and you want to do something extra special this year. If you are organising your own event how do you dress the Burn's Night table? So what to wear? If you have your own tartan then it is traditional to wear your family or clan tartan. If you are unsure about which tartan to wear then our tartan finder will help you. How much tartan is up to you. More formal events may require Kilts and Prince Charlie Jackets or Tartan Trews and Sashes for the ladies but normally a touch of tartan is enough to show your allegiance. We can make most items to order in your tartan but if you can't see yours on the list let us know and we can probably source it for you.

And if you don't have your own tartan? Then just pick one you love! Use our tartan finder to search by colour or if you want to wear a generic tartan not attached to any particular clan then try the range of Pride of Scotland tartans or the Stewart Royal, Scottish National, Scotland Forever, National Millennium and Black Watch tartans can be worn by anyone.
