Tartan Wedding Inspiration - Spring Shows & Events

Spring brings us a busy schedule of wedding shows. Aberdeen and Your Wedding Exhibition was our first trip, with the Emma at the helm of the tartan van fighting through some crazy snowstorms to meet all the lovely brides and grooms to be in the north. Our tartan was on the catwalk and the Ailsa Yellow was a huge hit.

Glasgow is home to the glitz and glamour of the Scottish Wedding Show and boasts a VIP Lounge and a Cocktail Bar so you are guaranteed a great day out. This Show has been running for over 2 decades and we have been showing off our tartans here for the last two years. With over 300 exhibitors you are guaranteed to find all the vital ingredients for the perfect wedding, along with lots of other things you hadn't even thought of. Traditional, quirky, vintage or themed, whatever you are dreaming of for your big day you will find it here!

The Edinburgh Corn Exchange is a lovely venue and with 130 exhibitors this show always feels very personal. All the usual exhibitors are there along side a lot of smaller,we can talk you through choosing your perfect tartan and how you can incorporate it into your wedding, whether you are adding a subtle touch of tartan or celebrating your heritage in all it's glory with the whole venue and wedding party decked out in your family tartan.

For something a little different we are delighted to be involved with the Girls Night In at the Royal Scots Club. This fabulous venue has teamed up with the Scottish Wedding Directory for a fun evening of planning and ideas. If you have always dreamed of a Scottish wedding in a traditional and elegant setting the beautiful Georgian interior and central capital city location make this a very special venue. A glass of fizz and delicious canapes are included so this is one not to be missed.
