Tartan Beermats - Let the Search Commence
If you are in Edinburgh in August and enjoying a pint of Edinburgh's finest ale or an Irn Bru then you may well find your glass placed upon a tartan beermat.
As part of the launch of our new shop (doors open August 1st!) we have printed up 20,000 beermats in 4 different tartans and distributed them amongst Edinburgh's best bars and pubs. All you need to do is find all 4 and bring them along to the shop for a 10% discount. The first person in the door with all 4 beermats will receive a £100 voucher to spend in store.
We had a tough time deciding which tartans to use although the Edinburgh tartan was of course first choice. Next up is the Caledonia with it's gorgeous scarlet red background crossed with blues and yellow and white. We then went all patriotic with the Jacobite tartan and you've got to love that bold yellow and we contrasted this with the ever so subtle Auld Scotland to finish the set. Now we are not going to make it easy and just tell you exactly where you can find the beermats but we may offer a few clues on social media and certain establishments may be reviewed on the blog in the coming weeks which might assist you.
