Burns Night Celebrations If you are attending your first ever Burns Night then it can be a bit daunting as you wonder what on earth to wear. Or maybe you have been to a million Burn's Suppers and you want to do something extra special this year. If you are organising your own event how do you dress the Burn's Night table? So what to wear? If you have your own tartan then it is traditional to wear your family or clan tartan. If you are unsure about which tartan to wear then our tartan finder will help you. How much tartan is up to you. More formal events may require Kilts and Prince Charlie Jackets or Tartan Trews and Sashes for the ladies but normally a touch of tartan is enough to show your allegiance. Then just pick one you love!
