The July edition of Period Living Magazine has just come out and aqua blue is certainly their favourite colour this month. Their themes are Dainty Prints and Pale and Interesting celebrating pastel shades. The combination of ditsy flower print cushions and our aqua check Shetland wool throw works so well. Safe to say we have fallen in love with the aqua wall behind. What paint shade is that please Period Living? It is not always the obvious thing to do to combine different prints but it is definitely worth being brave and trying out a few unusual combinations to create a really fresh look. Later this month we are doing an interiors photoshoot to show you just how many different ways there are to style your tartan and tweed. We will be working with stylist Emily Blunden for the first time and are very excited about some of her ideas. We will be taking a few amateur shots on the iPhone on the day and posting them on the Facebook pages so keep your eyes peeled. Tartan is not really associated with pastel colours but we do have a special range of pastel tartans with lots of lovely sunny yellows, soft pinks, lilacs and aqua blues. We can make pretty much anything up for you in these tartans from a cushion to a skirt. They are lovely for girl's bedroom curtains too!
