When Bruno Strüby in Switzerland contacted us to buy some socks for a photoshoot for their website we asked if he might share the final images with us. More out of nosiness than anything else but wow do we love the results. They have taken what is a traditional country sock and made them look at the same time modern yet old world and elegant.

The men's collections at Strüby are designed and produced in-house and the socks were bought in to complement the tailored range for the photoshoot. Strüby value high quality fabrics which wear well for everyday use and an understated elegance style. Very similar values to ScotlandShop and our choice of high quality, locally produced tartan and tweed fabrics and quality tailoring to produce classic pieces that wear well and can be dressed up and down according to the occasion. Sustainable fashion or "Mode, die nachhaltig erfreut." as Bruno would say.

The socks in question are made from a merino wool acrylic blend so along with having a really luxurious feel they wear well and are super practical and machine washable. Choose from a great range of colours to match your plus fours or kilt. The perfect Scottish gift for a golfer, country sports enthusiast or just wear in to wear in your wellies.

So thank you Bruno for sharing your photos with us. Maybe next time you should include some tweed or tartan in your tailoring?
