We always love the Friday Style and of course last week was one of our favourites since our Cashmere Hot Water Bottle Cover was in there to keep you cosy on cold winter nights. The topic was neutrals, the new trend for interiors, and the soft otter brown that you have loved so much from our cashmere socks range this season is a Style favourite. The article is timely given that we have tartan and tweed strewn across our packing tables as we decide what checks to tempt you with in 2013. Interestingly we have some fabulously bright colours in the mix, but contrasted with subtle, neutral checks and tartans to keep the style gurus happy. Tweeds are traditionally muted colours and we think that often the most difficult thing for our customers is to decide which one to choose. Our fabric guide will help narrow it down in terms of what you want to use the fabric for. All fabrics are rub tested so we can tell you if they are hard wearing or not and best suited to upholstery or curtains or soft furnishings. For muted or neutral colours in our tartan range you can choose by colour using our Tartan Finder. For soft greens and blues go for the Ancient tartans or for muted, faded colours the Weathered tartans are lovely. Just type this into the Tartan Finder to view swatches of everything we have available. You can of course then order swatches if you want to see and touch the colours before you buy. We love helping you to choose your perfect fabric and hearing from you once you have transformed a room, re-covered your sofa or just added some cushions to freshen up the look.
