The Tartan Round Up - January 2019
Happy New Year and welcome to 2019! With so much lined up in the world of tartan this year, we thought it was about time we started a monthly round up of what we are up to here in sunny Scotland. Watch this space for any news, upcoming events, customer stories and tartan tales.
Of course us Scots do like to start the year with a bang and this year was no different, Edinburgh's Hogmanayis one of the best New Year celebrations world wide and can be best celebrated at the street party in the heart of the city. You might think that January would be a quiet month but far from it, January is actually one of our busiest times of year, all thanks to one Rabbie Burns!

You can book an appointment to be measured using our online system. We also offer a Tartan Consultation service if you would like to have dedicated time with a member of staff to find your family or clan tartan.

Customer Stories
Ryan booked an appointment to be measured in our Edinburgh store whilst on holiday in Scotland last year and got in touch to send us this lovely photo of him and his lovely wife Sarah with their Christmas tree !
"My annual company holiday party is usually a drab affair- lots of black suits and dark sweaters. When I came strolling into the room with my tartan suit on it was like time stood still- people crossed the room to come take an up close look! This suit is absolutely without a doubt the nicest piece of clothing that I own and it makes me immensely proud every time that I have the opportunity to wear it."

You may remember that back in November, just in time for St Andrew's Day, Tartan Ted packed his suitcase and left ScotlandShop HQ to fly to California. Ted is now travelling from the West Coast to New York in time to march with us during the Tartan Day Parade.
Ted spent Burns Night with the Motherlode Scots in Jackson, California and rumour has it he was last seen crossing the state border in to Nevada.
