School of ScotlandShop - Scottish Heritage Journal
With schools and nurseries shut across the country, we thought it would be fun to create the School of ScotlandShop. Maths and Science may not be our strong points, but we love history and all things Scottish. Join us over the upcoming weeks as we design new tartans, hunt for Nessie, find out about Scotland's past, and so much more! We're glad that you can join us!
Scottish Journal
This week we thought it would be nice to help the next generation to explore their Scottish Heritage and Clan history with their very own Scottish Journal. After an opportunity to introduce them self and their interests it's time for your little one to explore their Clan roots. (Don't need to worry if you are all new to this, you can use our Scottish Clan Pages to help you discover all the important facts and for even more information specific we'd recommend taking a look at your Clan Society's website.) Filled with their clan knowledge they can then take some time to design a coat of arms for your family, this could include elements of their clan history, their favourite colours, hobbies, pets and anything else significant to your family. We've also included a very simple family tree, for any budding genealogists out there you could of course expand upon this.
We'll continue adding to the journal next week as we add in pages for your little one to keep track of where they've been lucky enough to visit in Scotland or to plan their dream trip to Scotland if they've not been able to make it just yet.
