The first and most important way to style your Tartan Snood, is to wear it as a face mask. Pull the snood up over your nose and you are protected whenever you may need it. We think our Snood is perfect for using as a face mask, as you will never forget to bring one with you, as you will already have it around your neck! No more panicking, hunting through pockets and bags at the entrance to your favourite corner shop.
The Neck Warmer style is the natural way to wear your Snood and a great way to turn a crew neck into a polo neck or add a splash of colour. Simply pull the snood down round your neck once you have finished wearing it as a face mask and you have a whole new look, with the fine knit making it super comfortable against your skin. Wearing the Snood in this style is also perfect for the colder months giving you an extra layer of warmth.
If you are a fan of the ponytail or have lovely long hair like Monja you will love being able to turn your snood into yet another practical accessory. When it feels too warm to wear the snood around your neck, but you still don't want to forget it when you leave the house, a scrunchie is the ideal way to style it. Twist your tartan around your wrist as more of an accessory or be slightly more practical and pull your hair off your face into a ponytail. The stretch of this fabric means it pings right back into place as soon as you untwist.
This is one of my personal favourite ways to wear the Snood, and such a lovely, easy way to style your hair. It not only keeps your hair out of your face (and looks good doing it), but you can easily pull the snood down whenever you are in need of a face covering. A total win-win. We love the bold colours of the Buchanan tartan pictured, which one will you choose to create this 60s inspired look?
Wearing the Snood as a hat may not be the most obvious choice when looking at your stretchy tube of tartan, however this is another really easy way to wear the product. I just love having one in my pocket, it doesn't take up much space and if it turns a little chilly or the wind gets up, problem solved. The bright pop of colour of the tartan is what really makes this style work.
For our last option, we have styled the Snood as a Bandanna, another great option for an easy and quick way to style your luscious locks on a bad hair day. Bandannas have been really popular throughout lockdown with everyone looking for ways to style their hairdresser deprived hair, and even though salons are open again we think this is such a chic way to wear your snood.
