Monthly Video Competition
More of a video than an image person? Not near any of our stores to join in the Game of Tartan Thrones competition? Welcome to My Tartan Moment, our new monthly video competition for anyone, anywhere! Each month, we'll review the entries and select a winner to receive vouchers to spend with ScotlandShop, instore or online.
How to Enter
1 Get your tartan on! It doesn't matter whether it's a cap, a brooch or you're dressed head-to-toe in tartan, if you can make a video of you and your piece of Scotland and ScotlandShop, that will be perfect.
2 Choose your location. Inside, outside, top of a mountain, bottom of a valley, on the beach, on the ski slope, at a wedding or a Highland Games, the choice really is yours.
3 Film your video. Please film portrait style and keep the length to a maximum of 60 seconds. No fancy equipment required, a phone will be fine.
4 Bonus points for sharing your video on social media using the hashtag #MyTartanMoment

Terms & Conditions
1 By entering the My Tartan Moment Video Competition, you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions.
2 The competition is being run by Browne White Ltd t/a ScotlandShop whose registered office is at ScotlandShop, Station Road, Duns, TD11 3EJ, Scotland, UK.
Eligibility to enter
3 The competition is open to entrants of any age in any part of the world (ScotlandShop staff members are excluded from the draw).
4 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.
5 A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted per month.
6 The competition is free to enter.
How to enter
7 The competition will be judged monthly on those entries submitted up to midnight (UTC) of the last day each month. Entries after that time and date will be included in the following month's competition.
8 To enter the competition, upload your entry.
9 ScotlandShop will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.
The prize
10 The prize will be product(s) or a gift voucher with a value of £75 GBP.
11 ScotlandShop’s use of particular brands as prizes does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
12 The winner will be chosen by ScotlandShop.
13 The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
14 We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
15 The decision of ScotlandShop regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Winner announcement
16 The winner will be notified in the first week of the month following their entry submission via the email provided during subscription.
17 ScotlandShop will attempt to contact the winner by email up to two times.
18 If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they will lose their right to the prize, and ScotlandShop reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.
Receipt of the prize
19 Please allow 14 days for delivery of the prize or alternative collection or delivery arrangements may be made through mutual agreement.
Data protection and publicity
20 You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the competition being used by ScotlandShop for the purposes of administering the competition, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.
21 All entrants may apply for details of the winning participant by contacting us at [email protected].
22 The winner agrees to the release of their first name and the country they live in to any other competition participants if requested via ScotlandShop.
23 An announcement of the winner's first name and the country they live in will be made via ScotlandShop website and social media platforms.
24 All personal information shall be used in accordance with ScotlandShop's Privacy Notice.
26 The winner agrees to the release of their first name, the country they live in as well and the video entered to be shared within the ScotlandShop email newsletter & social media channels.
Limitation of Liability
27 ScotlandShop does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the competition or being selected for a prize, save that ScotlandShop does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.
General
28 ScotlandShop reserves the right to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
29 The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Scottish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
