Detachable bows have been a hot topic on bridal runways kicking of the new decade to complement dresses with flattering, clean-lined silhouettes and v-necklines. Ideal for your flower girl, we have our Girls Wool Tartan Sash with Bow which turns a the most simple dress into something very special. Bridal Fashion Week in the US featured "pretty bows" as a key trend for weddings in 2020, and particularly an oversize bow placed at the back of the waist.
Bows however are not just for the girls in the Bridal Party. We custom make Bow Ties for all ages. Including our Wool Tartan Bow Tie and Self Tie Bow Tie for grown ups and Boys Wool Tartan Bow Tie which can even be made with elastic for even the tiniest of Groomsmen. Pets at weddings are another part of the growing personalisation trend and if you are considering including your furry friend in the celebrations then do not worry, we can even make them a bow!
Bows for Decor
Our tartan ribbon is incredibly versatile, use it to add bows to you invites, place cards and table settings or to add a tartan touch to your bouquet. Your wedding invitation is one of the first glimpses of the personality and aesthetic you have in store for your guests, and usually sets the theme for the colour scheme and day itself. This is your chance to make a strong or subtle statement about your Scottish heritage! We have a range of Polyester Ribbon in 14 Pride of Scotland Tartans and 18 Clan Tartans. Although if your chosen tartan isn't available we can most of our tartans into packs of Wool Tartan Ribbon. Towering, dramatic creations are said to make a comeback this year in cake trends so just imagine the colour and creativity that can be achieved with the addition of a little tartan.
Tie them in a bow or drape them over the back of the chair and tie off with a plain bow (pictured below in Taylor Ancient), ourTartan Chair Sashes are a classic tartan touch for the reception.
