This Halloween season, join us in-store for a special series of Great Kilt Demonstrations with a spooky Highland edge!

Step back in time and uncover the fascinating story of the féileadh mòr (Great Kilt), the garment once worn by Highland warriors, rebels, and perhaps even a few restless spirits. During the demonstration you’ll learn:

◦ The history and significance of the Great Kilt & some ghostly Highland folklore

◦ What materials are needed to create your own

◦ How to fold, style, and wear a great kilt like a Highlander

Our friendly team will share tales of tartan, answer your questions, and after the demonstration you’re welcome to:

◦ Explore your family or clan tartan

◦ View swatches of tartans and fabrics

◦ Get measured for your chosen garment

Daily at 11:00 from 27th October - 2nd November in our Edinburgh & Crieff stores. 

Registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome, no tricks, just treats!
