Chicago Scottish Festival & Highland Games

Join us for the 39th Annual Chicago Scottish Festival and Highland Games. This year the games have a new home at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, founded by farmers to help showcase the agriculture community and keep farming alive.

The Scottish Festival & Highland Games has activities and attractions for everyone – from the Caber Toss to Highland Dancing to the Dogs of Scotland. This family-friendly outdoor event is a chance to explore Scottish culture. All proceeds benefit the Chicago Scots and Caledonia Senior Living & Memory Care.

Chicago Scots (The Illinois Saint Andrew Society) is the oldest not-for-profit in Illinois, founded in 1845.

Come along to find your Clan tartan and celebrate your Scottish heritage in Chicago. Our wonderful Brand Ambassador, Carolyn Rydberg, will be there to showcase our Illinois tartan, help you discover your clan heritage and connect with your Scottish roots. Carolyn will also be judging the 'Knobbly Knees competition.
