Event Address: DuPage County Fairgrounds 2015 Manchester Road Wheaton, IL 60187

Join us for the 40th Annual Chicago Scottish Festival and Highland Games at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, which were founded by farmers to help showcase the agriculture community and keep farming alive.

The Scottish Festival & Highland Games has activities and attractions for everyone – from the Caber Toss to Highland Dancing to the Dogs of Scotland. This family-friendly outdoor event is a chance to explore Scottish culture. All proceeds benefit the Chicago Scots and Caledonia Senior Living & Memory Care. This year to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, Chicago Scots will honour the generations who have served in the United States military by recognizing veterans as the Honored Clan of the 2026 Games. Veterans representing every branch of service will lead the Parade of Tartans during Saturday’s opening ceremonies, joined by a special Armed Forces Medley performed by world champion piper Dave Johnston.

Chicago Scots (The Illinois Saint Andrew Society) is the oldest not-for-profit in Illinois, founded in 1845.

Come along to find your Clan tartan and celebrate your Scottish heritage in Chicago. Our wonderful Brand Ambassador, Carolyn Rydberg, will be there to showcase our Illinois tartan, help you discover your clan heritage and connect with your Scottish roots. Carolyn will also be judging the 'Knobbly Knees' competition.
