3 Ways to Tie a Scarf - The Loop Through Knot

W]inter is definitely here, there's no denying it. It's time to wrap up warm in all our winter woollies and a scarf is a must. We have chosen three of our favourite ways to tie a scarf starting off with the Loop Through Knot. Simple and stylish, this knot takes no time at all when you are getting ready to go out and works well with shorter and longer scarves.

Loop Knot

Step 1: Choose your scarf

We have chosen a luxuriously soft and cosy Cashmere Scarf in Pink Lindsay tartan. This knot works with any fabric, we are just showing off how spoilt we are surrounded by so many gorgeous Scottish yarns. Checks and tartans work beautifully when you knot them as you get to see all the different colours.

Step 2:

Fold the Scarf in two and hang over neck with a loop formed at the end. If you have a shorter scarf and you don't want a short knot allow one end to hang longer. If you have a really wide scarf fold it in half lengthways before you begin and you will achieve that trendy chunky knot that is so on trend this year.

Step 3:

Take the two loose ends and thread them through the loop.

Step 4:

Gently tighten the knot to form the Loop Through Knot! Et voilà even the plainest scarf will look gorgeous.
