Jackie Stewart in Tartan

We are often sent photographs of celebrities wearing tartan and today we received this one of Jackie Stewart in his tartan flat cap from a French customer. The tartan is Stewart Black and yes of course we can make you a tartan cap in this tartan! Sir John Young Stewart, OBE was born on 11th June 1939 and is known as one of the greatest figures of motor racing. Jackie Stewart, also known as the The Flying Scott competed in Formula One between 1965 and 1973, winning three World Drivers' Championships. Between 1997 and 1999 he was team principal of the Stewart Grand Prix Formula One racing team in partnership with his son Paul. Jackie's distinctive Scottish accent has also made him an easily recognisable commentator of racing tv broadcasts and a spokesman for Ford in the US.
