Scottish Scarf Style Edit: Wool Tartan and Velvet Stole

Welcome back to the Scottish Scarf Style Edit! We hope you all had a wonderful time over the Festive period. Now that Christmas is over we thought we would move onto stoles and sashes to fill you with inspiration for Burns Night, as it is only a few weeks away. We begin with our Wool Tartan and Velvet Stole.

We kept this look simple and elegant, by pairing the stole with a Pencil Skirt in the matching Stewart Black tartan. We then added a black off the shoulder top and heels so that the focus would purely be on the tartan, both on the skirt and the stole. The Wool Tartan and Velvet Stole is such a great choice for a Burns event if too much tartan isn't really your thing, as the stole is double sided so you can display the velvet side while still incorporating tartan within your outfit.

The stole is really versatile as it could be worn with a smart dress in a plain colour for a subtlety of tartan or it could even be paired with a Tartan Mini Kilt if you really want to get in the Scottish spirit. The tartan side of the stole can either be made from 100% wool fabric or silk fabric and there are three colour options available to choose from for the velvet side. There is still time for you to order one of these lovely stoles in time for Burns Night if you select the Express Make-Up option on the website.

We hope you enjoyed this weeks Scarf Styling Blog and we would love to see how you style your stole for Burns Night, so be sure to send us over some pictures, by messaging us on Facebook, tagging us on Instagram or emailing us at info@scotlandshop.com.
