Today in the Scottish Scarf Style Edit we will be taking a look at the perfect Christmas party accessory; the
Wool Tartan Stole in Stewart RoyalIn the first look Jessica wraps the stole around her shoulders and crosses it over the front of her body. The sharp angles that the stole creates when worn in this way make it look very fashionable. Use a brooch in the centre to hold the shape.
Jessica drapes the stole over just one shoulder for the second look, and allows it to slip down over her arm on the other side, giving the outfit an effortlessly elegant feel.
The Wool Tartan Stole is made from our 100% pure wool fabric and also has a practical use to keep you cosy as you dash from home to party or if you are hosted in a draughty Scottish Castle where heating is scarce. Warmer ways to wear your stole are shown in the first and fourth picture, wrapping your shoulders up, while still looking wildly glamorous.
In the third look Jessica wears the stole hanging over both arms, used more as an accessory rather than a practical garment to keep her warm. We love this easy to wear style as you can tuck the ends around your arms leaving your hands free to enjoy drinks and canapes.
Finally, the fourth look, which is really a more relaxed version of our first look, with softer angles for those who want to look fashionable, but still comfortable.
Jessica chose our Muckle Peerie Poak Tartan Clutch Bag in a matching tartan to team with her stole, to create a super streamlined look and of course Stewart Royal was the tartan of choice as I can't think of tartan what reminds us more of Christmas! A black shift dress, black tights and black heels allow the tartan to really steal the outfit.
The Wool Tartan Stole is available in over 500 tartans, so there is plenty of choice whether you are looking for a Clan tartan or simply one that matches your outfit! We would love to see pictures of how you style your stole so send them over to us on Facebook, tag us on Instagram or email us at info@scotlandshop.com.
