Canada has always held a special place in our hearts, and through our Canadian Tartan Tours, Highland Games and pop-up events over the years, we've loved meeting so many wonderful customers and sharing our passion for tartan and Scottish heritage.

Now we're taking the next exciting step and establishing a permanent home in Canada, making it the third country and fifth location in the ScotlandShop family!
Â
We're delighted to have revealed that Toronto will be our new Canadian home! But that's all we're sharing for now...
Â
We're keeping the exact location under wraps for just a little longer, but we'll be revealing more very soon.

Canada has a wonderful connection to tartan, with designs representing provinces, territories, cities and communities, each with its own story to tell. Perhaps the best known is the Maple Leaf Tartan, designed by David Weiser in 1964 ahead of Canada's centennial celebrations. Inspired by the changing colours of the maple leaf throughout the seasons, it became an official national symbol in 2011.
Â
Across Canada, tartans celebrate the landscapes, history and traditions of different regions, with colours inspired by everything from coastlines, forests and mountains to local wildlife, industries and communities.
In celebration of ScotlandShop coming to Canada. Discover our new Scottish Canadian Collection, featuring a Cap Badge, Kilt Pin and Lapel/Tie Pin. All three products bring together the iconic Canadian maple leaf and a wreath of Scottish thistles, celebrating the shared heritage and lasting connections between Scotland and Canada.

Scotland's connections with Canada stretch back centuries, from the early settlers who made the journey across the Atlantic to the Scottish Canadians who helped shape the country we know today. Discover the stories of Scottish migration, famous figures and the traditions, clan societies and communities that continue to keep Scotland's heritage alive across the Great White North.
Canada will soon be home to ScotlandShop's fifth permanent location but this certainly isn't our first visit. Over the years, our Tartan Tours have taken us across Canada, giving us the chance to meet customers, visit Scottish communities and discover some brilliant places along the way. Take a look back at some of our previous Canadian adventures while we get ready for the next one.Â
