Barga Scottish Festival

Barga is Italy's most Scottish town, with a unique connection that stretches back more than a century. During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, many people from Barga emigrated to Scotland, building communities in towns and cities across the country while maintaining strong ties with their Tuscan home. Today, that shared heritage is celebrated each year at the Barga Scottish Festival, bringing together Italian and Scottish culture through music, food, traditions and friendship.
