Sporran is Scottish Gaelic for "purse" and a traditional part of Highland Dress, and in it's simplest form a leather pouch to store food supplies and weapons (or these days car keys and mobile phone and maybe a wee hip flask of whisky). The simplest rule is that your Sporran should sit a hands width or 4 inches below your Kilt Belt or waistband, however there are a few other styling tips you should be aware of. Find our more on our hand Guide to Wearing a Sporran.
A kilt pin should only be worn through the top apron layer of the kilt pin and on the right hand side.
The exact placement is up to you, but it should be near enough to the corner to help prevent the apron from blowing open.
