Our women's tartan waistcoat is carefully made to order so you can choose a co-ordinating or contrasting colour for the back of your waistcoat or we will choose one for you. Choose a simple cut or lapels in satin or velvet and customise little details like the colour of the stitching on the button holes to create a truly unique outfit. Not to mention the choice of over 500 tartans. Pastel check tartans and tweeds can also be used on request. And of course we use the finest quality tartan fabric woven right here in Scotland.

We use a top quality lightweight 10oz tartan fabric woven in Scotland to make your waistcoat. If you want a heavier weight waistcoat we can also use a 13oz or 16oz wool. A surcharge will apply for heavier fabrics.

Your waistcoat is already an original as you choose the tartan and we tailor it to your measurements. But the fun doesn't end there and you can request so many details to make your waistcoat even more special. You can choose the colour of your lining and back of the waistcoat. Or we can of course make it with a tartan back if you prefer. Be bold and go for a contrast colour or take a more sedate co-ordinating colour to suit the occasion. Buttonhole stitching can be emphasised to match a stripe or check. Button colours will match the base colour as standard or you can select any colour you like. Your waistcoat is made to measure just for you and you can choose from over 500 Scottish clan tartans. If you can't find the one you are looking for please ask as we may be able to source it for you.
Properly cared for your waistcoat will last for years. This is a pure wool fabric and should be dry cleaned only. Wool fabric can become dull with general dust and dirt. Gentle brushing with a garment brush will brighten it up again.
