Plaid Golf Pants Sizing Guide

Tartan golf pants, from the home of golf! Our golf pants are made in a more relaxed fit than traditional tartan trousers to ensure you can swing and move freely for the best performance on the course. We have a range of plaids and sizes available from stock for immediate dispatch in our machine washable polyviscose fabric or for a wider range of plaids and made to measure sizing, choose our custom made option available in both polyviscose or lightweight 10oz wool fabric.

To ensure that you get the perfect fit, be sure to follow our measuring tips and advice:

For the most accurate measurements, use a tailors tape measure and have a friend or family member measure for you. Ensure you have nothing in any of your pockets, and that you stand tall and relaxed while getting measurements taken.

Waist - Measure around the body at the position you would like the trouser waistband to sit. Pull the tape measure as tight or as loose as you would like the trouser waist to fit. Ensure the tape measure is straight across the front and back of the body.
Seat- Measure around the widest part of the bottom, ensuring the tape measure is straight across the front and back of the body.
Inside Leg - Measure up inside the leg, as high as the tape measure will comfortably go, down to the desired trouser hem.

Our plaid golf trousers can be made in a machine washable, plaid polyviscose fabric or 10oz plaid wool fabric, authentically woven in Scotland.

Making your Plaid Golf Pants

Our plaid golf pants are one of our best selling products and are a great combination of traditional Scottish manufacturing and modern style. We cut them in a more casual style than traditional trousers so you can move freely and the 1 inch slit at the bottom ensures they lie smoothly over your golf shoes.

The Length

As standard we make the tartan golf trousers to a 31.5 inch inside leg. However, if you choose custom made we can make to order in any length.

The Plaid

Ian Poulter may have made tartan golf trousers famous in the press but we have been making them for years here in Scotland and you can choose from one of our stock tartans and sizes or a range of over 500 plaids made to measure. If the tartan you are looking for is not on the list please contact us as we may be able to make them for you in a lightweight wool.
