Harley-Davidson and tartan cross roads
Now Wendy in our office absolutely loves bikes so her dreams came true when we spotted the launch of this new tartan. The Harley-Davidson corporation registered it's own official tartan in 2003 and this new version has been created for Calgary HOG, the local chapter of Harley-Davidson motorcycle owners. This special Canadian version incorporates a stripe of red to complement the traditional clan colours of black, rust and grey.
Ron Weir created the tartan and has Scottish roots himself, however he says he will not be wearing his kilt out on the road, only at official Harley rallies and events!
