Bonnie & Wild Food Vendors
Creel Caught by Gary Maclean
There is no doubt that Scotland and Edinburgh is home to some of the most talented chefs and of course some absolutely gorgeous places to eat, but Bonnie & Wild takes the biscuit, or should we say shortbread? It is home to 15 independent vendors, from traditional Scottish cuisine to the immersive world of Whisky. Warning, the following content will make you hungry; very, very hungry.
Mussels | Creel Caught
Creel Caught offers a delectable menu of fresh Scottish seafood, from Loch Etive trout, to mussels from Shetland and hand-dived scallops from Mull. Gary MacLean may be a familiar name for many, as he was the winner of MasterChef in 2016 and since then has gone on to write cookbooks, open two restaurants and continue teaching hospitality. Most exciting on his menu may be his 'Fish tacos, or perhaps his 'Grilled King Prawns and Chorizo'; there is a delicious variety of seafood dishes for you to choose from.
Jimmy Lee, the award winning chef, presents an array of Salt & Chilli dishes that will surely make your mouth water. Something that is a must try is his addictive salt and chilli fries.

El Perro Negro
Best Burger in the UK | EL Perro Negro
Bonnie & Wild is host to El Perro Negro- the reigning champion of 'The UK's Best Burger', an honour they richly deserve. Nothing comes close to this ensemble of bread, meat and a whole lot of filling and don't forget the unforgettable sauce.
East PIZZAS
East Pizza
If doughy goodness is your preferred choice, then East PIZZAS will not disappoint. The bases are homemade sourdough and the toppings are a selection of the typical classics and some truly quirky creations. One topping that takes our fancy has to be organic nduja, smoked mozzarella, cream and chilli. Not one to miss out on while at the Bonnie & Wild food market.
If you weren't hungry before, you certainly will be now!
Leith Woks
Leith Wok | Special Dish
Chef Jimmy Lee brings Scotland a touch of China with his authentic dishes. The menu offers a great selection of meals to cure your hunger. You may recognise Jimmy from TV or his TikTok account, where he creates Chinese dishes with a sprinkling of Scottish twist.
Joelato is the place to go for those with a sweet tooth. Joe and Lucie Sykes are the faces behind the creations and there is no doubt of their love for gelato and sorbets. Joe attended Carpigiani Gelato University in Italy, and learned all there is to know about this cold creation. Their ingredients are sourced locally and everything is made in house and of course from scratch. Their menu offers a choice of traditional flavours and for those who are more bold a range of unique flavours. What will you choose?
Kochchi
Kochchi brings you a taste of heaven from the streets of Sri Lanka, with their Kotthu dish that will warm the tummy and achieve divine comfort. This isn't your typical meal, it will open your pallet to flavours you have never experienced before.
What's been your favourite so far?

Cairngorm Coffee
Cairngorm Coffee
Cairngorm Coffee began in the Cairngorm National Park and has graced Edinburgh with it's presence, a particular favourite of ours as they also have a cafe a couple of blocks down from our Edinburgh shop on Queensferry Street. The coffee is truly one of a kind and will leave you wanting more. Not to worry, you can purchase bags of coffee to take away and create your own perfect cuppa.
The main bar at Bonnie & Wild is light and fresh and serves a range of drinks, including the Scottish favourites. Many may question the name, however there is a simple yet genius meaning behind it. Hauf means a half measure in Scots and Howff means a meeting place. The Hauf & Howff is definitely the place to meet your friends for a half pint or a full pint.
The Tryst
The Tryst
From the luxurious bar to a divine event space, The Tryst is the place to be. With elements of a classic Highland Bar you will feel at home in every corner of the bar. The space was the setting for the brand new Naked Malt Scotch whisky and many other exciting events.
The Dookit
Dookit Bar
A small bar hidden but ready to find. 'Dookit' means a small space in Scots, and it is perfectly named. It may be small but is home to a selection of beers, ciders and cocktails, not to mention their extensive range of whiskies, gins and wines. Get your self nestled in at The Dookit for a lovely time.
