Flat Out: Style your Tartan Boots
Here in Scotland we are officially into Autumn, and the weather has really taken a turn for the worse (or the good if you're a fan of colder temperatures), so naturally we are thinking about the warmer outfits we are going to wear over the next few months. Choosing a top and shoes in the same colour is a great way to effortlessly co-ordinate your outfit. You will definitely have the dress code sorted with this stand out ensemble. Of course the most exciting (and magical) things about this time of year is the anticipation of Christmas! A lot of us spend a great deal of time thinking about what to wear on Christmas day, something versatile for sitting cross-legged and opening gifts with the little ones, comfortable enough for that post lunch family walk and smart enough to make a statement on this special day. We have you covered this year with our MacLachlan inspiration. New York, New York
Top style tip: wear a sweater in one of the colours that appear in the tartan. These flat boots work so well with a mini kilt in a matching tartan and a cosy Lambswool Sweater. Although it may be slightly early, the colours of the New York tartan are so lovely and bright that I think this would be a great transitional outfit for when we are starting to move into spring but the weather is still on the cool side. You could even wear this to march down 5th Avenue on Tartan Day in New York next April!
