Our tartan tent is heading to Embro Highland Games to celebrate Canada Day on July 1st. Come along to find your Clan tartan and celebrate your Scottish heritage. We will be there with our swatch books full of over 500 Scottish and Irish tartans, with samples of all our products and plenty to tempt you with, tape measures at the ready for custom-made and tailored garments.
The Embro Highland Society was first founded in 1856, “to preserve the language, martial spirit, dress, music, literature, antiquities and games of the ancient Caledonians”. Disbanded in 1888 the society was revived under a new name, Zorra Caledonian Society in 1937. Highland Games returned to Embro the same year and is now the oldest annual event of its kind in Ontario.
