Event Address: Stirling Sports Village, Borrowmeadow Farm Road, Stirling, FK7 7UJ, Scotland

The Stirling Highland Games and International Gathering is one of Scotland's oldest and most prestigious Highland Games, with roots stretching back to 1818. Held in the shadow of the historic city of Stirling, the Games celebrate more than two centuries of Scottish sporting tradition, welcoming competitors, clans and visitors from around 50 nations for a day filled with culture, competition and community.

From thrilling heavyweight events including the caber toss, hammer throw and shot put, to Highland dancing, track and field competitions, and the unique Stirling Stones contest, the Games showcase the very best of Scotland's living traditions. The 2026 event will also welcome Stirling-born actress, author and arts advocate Jackie Pirie as Chieftain, continuing the Games' proud tradition of celebrating those with strong connections to the city.
