Our men's plaid flight jacket will ensure you remain stylish all year round! A relaxed fit with a zip up middle ensures luxurious comfort.
To ensure that you get the perfect fit, be sure to follow our measuring tips and advice:
For the most accurate measurements, use a tailors tape measure and have a friend or family member measure for you. Ensure that you stand tall and relaxed while getting measurements taken.
Chest - Measure across the widest part of the chest, ensuring the tape measure is straight across the front and back of the body. The tape measure should run under your armpits, and the measurement should be taken with your arms down by your sides.
Back Length - Measure from the nape of the neck straight down the back to the desired length of the jacket. If you have a particularly long or short body, you can let us know and the jacket will be made to fit your style.
Once you have taken your measurements, our sizing guide below will help you to choose the correct size for your plaid flight jacket, however if you require any further assistance with sizing, our tartan team will be more than happy to help - get in touch or book a measuring appointment with one of our tailoring consultants.

The Fabric
We use a top quality lightweight 10oz plaid fabric woven in Scotland to make your flight jacket.
Making your Flight Jacket
Buying an exquisite, made to order garment created from Scottish cloth is creating a classic piece for your wardrobe that will look good for years. Our jackets are made from a lightweight wool woven in Scotland, fully lined and beautifully finished.
The Detail
Your flight jacket is already an original as you choose the tartan and we tailor it to your measurements, and you can also choose the color of your lining. Be bold and go for a contrast color or take a more sedate co-ordinating color to suit the occasion.
The Plaid
Your flight jacket is made to measure just for you, and you can choose from over 500 Scottish clan plaids. If you can't find the one you are looking for, please ask as we may be able to source it for you.
How to Care for your Tartan Flight Jacket
When properly cared for your plaid jacket will last for generations. This is a pure wool fabric and should be dry cleaned only. Wool fabric can become dull with general dust and dirt, gentle brushing with a lint brush will remove this and brighten it up again. Always ensure the garment is dry before storing and kept in a garment bag to prevent moths.
