We can make your tartan pencil skirt in the length of your choice - a super short mini or a sophisticated below the knee style. Fully lined and made in lightweight pure new wool in the tartan of your choice this is a very versatile addition to your wardrobe. Not to mention that pencil skirts are just so in this season! Button and zip fastening at the back, with a kick pleat so you can still walk.
The maximum length is 28 inches or 70cm in this style but we can make longer skirts for a small surcharge. Email us the length you require and we can quote for you.

The idea for this specific skirt was originally created to stop the first ever female passenger on a Wright Brother Airplane, Edith Berg, from having her skirt blow up in the wind. The pilots on this flight decided to tie a cord around the bottom of Edith’s skirt, near her ankles, to prevent it flying up. This caught the eyes of Parisian designers and eventually Dior created a modern pencil skirt in the 1950s.
A pencil skirt is a figure-fitting, smart garment. A matching tartan blazer would pair wonderfully, or even a wool sweater. For the full look you may also find a pair of kitten heels to be an excellent choice for this outfit. Returns Process
We hope you love your parcel from Scotland; however, we do understand that sometimes you might need to return or exchange items.
For stock products we have a 30 day, no quibble return policy, this also applies to sale items and in store purchases. Items must be unworn, with labels attached. Simply fill in the authorisation form here we will confirm the address for you to send it back to us.
Custom made or personalised goods are non-returnable unless the item is faulty or made to incorrect measurements. You must give us the opportunity to adjust, repair or replace faulty or incorrect items before you can claim a refund. We are also unable to accept returns on cut lengths of fabric and we advise ordering swatches prior to ordering large quantities of fabric if you want to check colours and quality.
