We deliver all over the world and below you will find our delivery options and costs so you can choose the best option for you. If you are local to or visiting nearby our Edinburgh or Crieff shops in Scotland, or our Duns HQ we offer a free collect in store service too. We can also gift wrap and deliver gifts, complete with your special message directly to the recipient’s door, making your life even easier.
All orders to the value of £50 or more delivered to a UK mainland address will qualify for free standard delivery. The delivery time for this service is 2-3 working days from dispatch. Our express service can be selected at the checkout and is not included in this promotion. No discount code is required, free shipping will apply automatically.
What's changing:
Removal of the de minimis threshold: Starting on 29th August, deliveries entering the US will be subject to duties and taxes, regardless of value.
Options:
1. DDP: We deliver your order with all duties and taxes paid at the checkout on www.scotlandshop.com, avoiding delivery delays and surprise fees. Our trusted couriers Fedex and DHL are already prepared to deliver in this way. The additional cost for DDP delivery over DAP is comprised entirely of the customs duty and associated fees charged by US Customs. DDP will be the same or less cost than shipping DAP and paying your duties and fees to the courier.
2. DAP: You take care of any tariffs, duties and fees that may apply once the parcel reaches US Customs and only pay ScotlandShop for the shipping. Our couriers will contact you at this point to confirm the costs and provide you with secure payment methods. This is Delivered at Place (DAP). Delivery times for DAP shipments are approximate estimates only as we have no control over time taken for customs clearance.

Our pick up from store service is free of charge & can be selected at the 'Delivery Address' section of our checkout process.
If you are based in the UK, orders can be collected from our Edinburgh and Crieff stores, or from our showroom in Duns.
Once your order has arrived in store, you will receive an email confirming this. The email will also include other relevant information or instructions required as well as the days and times available for your collection, depending on the location you have chosen.

We try to keep shipping costs as low as possible for those of you who are happy to wait a little longer for your parcel. Standard shipping starts at £5 for UK mainland, for orders under £50. We do offer free standard UK delivery on orders £50 or over - T&C apply.
Worldwide standard untracked delivery starts at £10 for orders under the value of £100. A maximum order value of £500 applies to standard untracked, over £500 must be sent using a tracked service.
If you are in a hurry or have a short deadline date to meet, express shipping is available which starts at £10 for UK delivery or £30/£36 for worldwide delivery. Please note the cut off time for express delivery is 12 noon and timings for this does not include weekends and will automatically default to the next working day.
If you are not in when we try to deliver your parcel we will always leave a card with a telephone number so you can phone to rearrange delivery or arrange to pick up your parcel.
If you know you are unlikely to be in to receive your parcel, extra instructions such as a safe place to leave the parcel, a reliable neighbour, or a preferred delivery day are all helpful. We can also deliver to work addresses and you can enter this information at the checkout stage.
Please note we are unable to deliver US Express shipments to addresses containing a PO Box.
Yes we do! This can be added in your 'basket' for a small additional charge. Your purchases will then be carefully wrapped in our branded tissue paper and beautiful purple gift box most suited to the size of your item or items. You can also include a special message for the recipient or have this delivered to you so that you can give the gift in person all ready wrapped.
Our custom made products will be sent as soon as they are made and passed through quality control, using the delivery service which you selected when placing your order.
Each item has a different lead time for creation, this can be found on specific product page. We do also offer express makeup time on many of our products for an additional fee, which also includes express delivery.

If the item you purchase is an in-stock item and you order before 12 noon with Express delivery, your order will be dispatched on the same day.
If you cancel your order within seven days after the day you get your goods, and you cancel the whole order, we will refund the standard postage and packing costs you paid as part of that order (if any), in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations.
If you paid for premium or express delivery, we will only refund the cost of standard delivery. You will have to pay the costs of sending the order back to us.
We will not refund any postage and packing charges if you cancel after the seven days allowed under the Distance Selling Regulations or if you only cancel part of your order (although you still have 30 days to return your goods and receive a refund for the cost of the goods).

Since 31st December 2020 goods can no longer circulate freely between the UK and the EU without customs declarations or controls. However do not worry as we will continue to deliver your parcels in exactly the same way. We have updated our systems to input all the relevant customs information required and will deliver your items with any duties or taxes already paid so there will be no unexpected fees or surprises.
So what changes with Brexit? For you, nothing at all, your little piece of Scotland will continue to be delivered as normal.

The estimated dispatch date for your order can be found in your customer account, and once your order has been dispatched your customer account will be updated with this information.
