Orders placed between November 1st and December 31st will have an extended returns period to 90 days to cover gift purchases over the festive period.
We hope you love your parcel from Scotland, however we do understand that sometimes you might need to return or exchange items. For stock products we have a no quibble return policy. If you want to return a stock item for any reason, please fill in the Authorisation Form below and we will confirm the address for you to send it back to us, unworn and preferably with all labels still attached. Items must be returned within 30 days. Within 7 days of receiving the return we’ll exchange or refund the item, stock permitting. This policy also applies to sale items and in store purchases.
Our Royal Mail returns service is a quick, hassle free means of returning your item. Click here and complete the form. Returns cost £4 which will be deducted from any refund.
Shipping charges will not be refunded unless the item is faulty or damaged. You have 30 days from taking ownership of the product (this could be the date of purchase or the date it was delivered to you - whichever is later) to claim a refund if it is faulty. After this time you must give us the opportunity to repair or replace the item before you can claim a refund.
You will not have any right to cancel a purchase for the supply of goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. These items are non-returnable unless the item is faulty or made to the incorrect measurements. You must give us the opportunity to adjust, repair or replace faulty or incorrect items before you can claim a refund. We provide detailed measuring guides to help you to make sure you measure correctly and welcome any additional measurements or information if you are an unusual shape, or want something made slightly different. Please contact us if you need any assistance or advice.
We offer Virtual Measuring Appointments via video call if you are unable to visit our Edinburgh or USA store or pop up events to be measured for tailored garments. We will explain to you how to measure and can demonstrate online and help ensure you measure correctly, however the responsibility for taking correct measurements lies with you and these items are non returnable. We are happy to assist with alterations but there will be a charge for this service.
We are unable to accept returns on cut lengths of fabric. Please order swatches prior to ordering large quantities of fabric if you want to check colours and quality.
Please note that any issues with sizing or quality must be reported with 30 days of receipt of your items. While we are of course very happy to help you with any alterations to garments, these will incur a charge after the 30 day period.
We are always interested in your feedback so please provide any extra detail on the returns form that you think might help us to improve our products and service.
Please complete the form below to receive authorisation to return your items. This is to allow us to request additional information or photos to ensure we offer the best solution if your items isn't quite right. We will reply within 24 - 48 hours of receipt of the form.
We can extend the returns policy at our discretion if you are unable to return items within the 30 day returns period. If you are exchanging an item you will have to pay for return postage yourself and the standard postage cost for shipping the replacement item. If you are exchanging for something cheaper than the original item ordered we will of course refund the price difference. If the exchange is for a more expensive item we will contact you to confirm how you wish to pay the extra payment.
Once your return has been approved we will email you the address for Return. Please fill in the form above for returns authorisation.
We try to process returns as quickly as possible, and always within 7 days of receiving the returned items.
Our products are made to last, and kilts and other items are frequently handed down from generation to generation. This sometimes means they need a bit of adjustment, or a simple repair. While we can't deal with everything there are many alterations that can be done. Please email us or use the Returns Form above to submit your request and we will confirm what can be done and provide a quotation. In some instances we will need to see the garment before confirming a cost. We will also need you to cover the costs of returning the item to us and shipping it back to you. If you live near one of our shops you are also very welcome to bring your items to us in store.
