Throughout September we have been celebrating all things Clan Taylor. We have met famous faces, visited many sites, and gained great insight into the history of this ancient clan. Finally, we called upon the valued Clan members to share their stories and we have had some lovely stories; read the blog to find out more!

Jecca Moeller (Taylor)
We received a lovely story and photo from Jecca!
"We have a large bunch of Taylor’s in Clarksville, Texas and surrounding the U.S. now… all because of my great grandfather William Alexander Taylor. Not saying he was a great man by any means, but he was father to some amazing men and women.
My grandfather had 5 sons and 1 daughter. My father Jimmy (the handsome grey haired gent in the pic) being the oldest. Sadly only 2 of those 6 kids still with us, my two uncles Bobby and Fred.
My brother John has carried on the Taylor name and has a son also. And my uncle had 5 boys and 1 girl as well.
So like I said, loads of Taylors surrounding the States. Even if I’m no longer a Taylor by name (I’m the one sitting on the floor) I love finding all the family connections still. We went to Scotland in 1999 and got fabric and ties and my mom sewed us all pieces after tracing which Taylor clan we linked from. I’m going to love reading all the stories coming during September!"
Thanks so much, Jecca, we hope you've been enjoying all the Taylor celebrations!
Trevor Taylor
Trevor also sent in his wonderful photos.
He says, "Outing on 8th August, Royal Order of Scotland evening meal at Faenol Fawr, Bodelwyddan, North Wales. A great Masonic evening with members of different clans."
We think you look great in your Taylor tartan trews, Trevor! Thank you for sending these in.
Unfortunately September has come to an end, that certainly doesn't mean our love for Clan Taylor is over, so be sure to get in touch with us if you fancy chatting all things Taylor!
