1 By entering the Win Your Piece of the Outlander Story giveaway you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions.

2 The giveaway is being run by Browne White Ltd t/a ScotlandShop whose registered office is at ScotlandShop, Station Road, Duns, TD11 3EJ, Scotland, UK.

Eligibility to enter

3 The giveaway is open to entrants who are over 18 in any part of the world (ScotlandShop staff members are excluded from the draw).

4 In entering the giveaway, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win.

5 A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.

6 The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.

How to enter

7 The giveaway will be drawn on those entries submitted up to midnight (UTC) on the 15th June 2026.

The prize

10 The prize will be a custom-made Ladies' Tartan Skirt (Tartan Kilted Skirt, Tartan Mini Kilt, All Round Pleated Skirt, Gathered Skirt, Celtic Wrap Skirt, Pencil Skirt or Full Length Kilted Skirt) or Men's 4-Yard Casual Kilt, made in the winner's choice of official Outlander series tartan or a tartan selected from ScotlandShop's range of over 500 tartans as listed on the ScotlandShop website at the time of of claiming their prize.

11 The prize item is up to the value of £390. Shipping charges, taxes, customs and duties will also be covered as part of the prize. Should the winner choose to upgrade to a premium fabric or any option that exceeds the prize value, any additional costs will be the responsibility of the winner.

12 The winner will be chosen by ScotlandShop.

13 The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered. 

14 We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.

15 The decision of ScotlandShop regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Winner announcement

16 The winner will be notified via email on the 16th June 2026.

17 ScotlandShop will attempt to contact the winner by email up to two times.

18 If the winner does not respond to the emails notifying them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they will lose their right to the prize, and ScotlandShop reserves the right to choose and notify a new winner.

Receipt of the prize

19 As the prize is custom-made to order, the winner will be required to provide their choice of style, tartan and measurements before the item can be put into production. Please allow approximately 6–8 weeks for make-up time depending on the options selected, followed by delivery. Alternative collection or delivery arrangements may be made through mutual agreement.

Data protection and publicity

20 You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the competition being used by ScotlandShop for the purposes of administering the competition, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.

21 All entrants may apply for details of the winning participant by contacting us at [email protected]

22 The winner agrees to the release of their first name and the country they live in to any other competition participants if requested via ScotlandShop.

23 An announcement of the winners first name and the country they live in will be made via ScotlandShop website and social media platforms.

24 All personal information shall be used in accordance with ScotlandShop's Privacy Notice.

26 The winner agrees to the release of their first name, the country they live in as well as the image and story entered to be shared within their email newsletter & social media channels. 

Limitation of Liability

27 ScotlandShop does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the competition or being selected for a prize, save that ScotlandShop does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.

General

28 ScotlandShop reserves the right to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.

29 The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Scottish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
