In the past it was the custom for Scotland's Clan Chiefs to give their followers a metal plate of their crest, to be worn as a badge of allegiance which fastened to their clothing with a strap and buckle. When not in use the belt was coiled around the crest and this convention is used in the clan crest badges of today. Now you can have your Clan Crest on your cufflinks.
Please note that the estimated make-up time for custom made clan crest cufflinks is normally up to 4 working days. If you need yours more urgently please select express delivery and note your delivery deadline on the order.
Our Clan Crest Cufflinks are made from Old fashioned Pewter with a plated finish of Palladium (to prevent scratching or tarnishing).
There are 125 clans available, with over 1200 Scottish surnames related to these clans as Septs and Descendants. These surnames are family names associated to particular plans through marriage or allegiance. If you can't find an association to a Clan then the Thistle, Piper, Lion Rampant and Culloden Cufflinks can be worn by anyone.
