Made to measure in your chosen tartan and to your preferred length this is a truly unique addition to your wardrobe which you can hand down through the generations. The best quality lightweight wool woven in Scotland is lovely and soft, and hangs beautifully, with traditional pleating and finish guaranteeing the perfect quality finish.

Traditional adjustable leather kilt buckle and straps offer a little flexibility on the waist measurement.

Where can I find tartans related to my family name?

    Our tartan and clan finder is the perfect tool to find what you are looking for! Simply enter your surname into the search bar. Some surnames do not have a specific clan, so if you cannot find a tartan in your name, our clan finder will give you the clan associated with your family name. From here you can enter this name into the tartan finder and it will show you the variants. Some names do not have any relation to a clan but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a tartan for you. Tartan can be worn by anyone who wishes to wear it. There is also a large range of district, universal and dancer tartans that were created as a fashion tartan for anyone to wear!

What is the difference between the tartan kilted skirt and the full length kilted tartan skirt?

    Our kilted skirt has a maximum length of 29 inches to reach mid-calf. If you wish to have it longer than this to cover your legs, then the full-length kilted tartan skirt is the choice for you. As well as this, if you wish to have a shorter skirt under 18 inches then we do also have a tartan mini kilt. It all depends on the length choice that works best for you! Can the full-length kilted tartan skirt be worn for both formal and informal occasions?

    The full-length kilted tartan skirt can be worn at any event you wish to wear it to. Although it is more commonly worn at informal gatherings, there is no rule against it being formally used. The difference between informal and formal occasions is becoming less distinct than it was in previous centuries. We recommend wearing this skirt wherever feels comfortable for you as it is always a beautiful choice of garment.

Returns Process 

We hope you love your parcel from Scotland; however, we do understand that sometimes you might need to return or exchange items.

For stock products we have a 30 day, no quibble return policy, this also applies to sale items and in store purchases. Items must be unworn, with labels attached. Simply fill in the authorisation form here we will confirm the address for you to send it back to us.

Custom made or personalised goods are non-returnable unless the item is faulty or made to incorrect measurements. You must give us the opportunity to adjust, repair or replace faulty or incorrect items before you can claim a refund. We are also unable to accept returns on cut lengths of fabric and we advise ordering swatches prior to ordering large quantities of fabric if you want to check colours and quality.
