Festival Of Nations

We are excited to represent Scotland alongside The Braemar Highland Dancers at the 51st Annual Festivals of Nations 2023 this November. We will be there with our swatch books full of over 500 Scottish tartans, so come along to find your Clan tartan and celebrate your Scottish heritage. We will have samples of our products and plenty to tempt you with, tape measures at the ready for custom-made and tailored garments.

In the spring of 1972, several ethnic group leaders got together with an idea to organise an art and cultural festival in the Capital District. The inspiration was to display how well people with diverse backgrounds can work together, to present a small view of the world to residents of the capital District, and to encourage children to celebrate their heritage. We hope you enjoy your few hours with us by looking at the arts and crafts from different parts of the world; tasting delicious ethnic foods; and being part of the audience indulging in the music with rhythm and dances representing various cultures and traditions of the world.

Our very first American store is also in the Capital District at 678 Loudon Road, Latham NY, and houses our full collection, allowing you to view samples of all the different fabrics and tartans we offer.
