In October 2023 we outgrew our original HQ and moved to Fort Road within Station Road Industrial Estate in Duns. With our new location also comes a new showroom allowing us to extend our measuring service for tailored garments to the Scottish Borders.

Kilt and Trews Hire for the Scottish Borders from our Duns Showroom
Many of our Scottish Borders customers will know of David Thomson's Men's Outfitters, based in Jedburgh, and their kilt hire service that has provided kilt outfits for weddings, parties, school dances, local festivals and family gatherings for decades.
David Thomson's business has closed, but the kilt and trew hire business has become part of ScotlandShop, operating from our head office and showroom on Station Road in Duns. Our Showroom
If you would just like to view tartan fabrics, interiors or clothing and do not require our measuring or tailoring service there is no need to make an appointment. Please just pop in and our knowledgeable, friendly team will be happy to help.
While we have as many fabric samples and garments in the showroom as possible, it is always helpful if you can add a note if you are looking for a particular tartan or product so we can be fully prepared for your visit. If you have any questions or need an appointment out with the times offered please send us an email.
Our Duns HQ is very accessible with a huge (free) car park, a gentle ramp up to the main door and a spacious interior easy for wheelchairs and pushchairs. There is a ramp into our showroom, but if you have any issues with this our team can easily relocate any items you want to see out into the main area. Well behaved pets are very welcome.
Tartans Linked to Duns
Duns Pipe Band Tartan
Our local town of Duns has had a pipe band for the last 90 years or so and is led and taught by Pipe Major Andrew Ainslie and Drum Major Colin Turner who teach the band's pipers and drummers at least once a week. In 2015 the band designed their very own Duns Pipe Band tartan.
Duns Castle
The Hay family bought Duns Castle in 1696 and have lived there ever since, join us as we interview Alick & Aline Hay.
Jim Clark
Clark was from a farm just outside Chirnside and spent much of his youth in Duns, he is still thought of as one of Motorsports greatest drivers. Discover his story here in Duns.
