Golf Get-Up: What To Wear On The Links
There is no set outfit to wear while playing golf. Some courses do have guidelines you have to follow, these are normally rules that have been in place for many years. In modern day golf, there is less of an expectation to dress up, however many choose to wear a splash of tartan to honour the sports Scottish heritage and show their own unique styles and personalities.

Tartan Plus Fours
Our tartan plus fours are a more traditional option for those who regularly hit the links and again are considered very stylish on the course. Like our trousers, we offer a polyviscose and wool option. Where do plus fours get their name? To make them an extra four inches of tartan fabric is needed to fold over below the knee! Our Plus Fours close at the knee with Velcro, making them adjustable, comfortable and most importantly they won't limit your golf swing.
You can pair our tartan plus fours with our Luxury Merino Wool Country Socks, available in a variety of colours that will match your tartan. Adding some flashes also ties the whole outfit together, you can choose between a matching tartan or a complimentary solid block colour flashes.

While we would ideally like to be in glorious sunshine while playing around of golf, the Scottish weather is too unpredictable. That's why we would recommend pairing your new tartan golf trews with a sweater. We have a range of styles and thicknesses available.
