Are you looking for the ultimate traditional 8 yard kilt with deep pleats for a fabulous swoosh and swing?  Is your tartan not available in heavyweight or would heavyweight fabric be too warm?   

 

Made in Scotland to the same style and standards as our 8 yard heavyweight kilts, this kilt is made with a lighter weight fabric.  It's perfect if you live in a warmer climate and 8 yards of heavyweight material would be just too warm, or if you'd like a tartan not in weave in heavyweight.  The highest quality finish is guaranteed, with one leather strap and buckle on the hip and two on the waist, fringed front apron and beautiful, durable, sustainable tartan, woven in Scotland.

Did you know?

Many of the more recent tartan collections are only woven in mediumweight fabric.

 

Our Old and Rare Collection includes over 400 of the less known clan and district tartans, literally old designs, rarely woven.  Glen Affric, a modern day recreation of Scotland's oldest known tartan, forms the foundation for the 1783 Collection, a gorgeous collection of 29 tartans celebrating the beauty of Scotland.

Approximate make-up time on Custom Made items are listed on the product page above the ‘Add to Basket’ button. If you need your items for a specific date please note this on your order within the ‘Order Notes’ section once you have added the item to your shopping basket.

Returns Process 

We hope you love your parcel from Scotland; however, we do understand that sometimes you might need to return or exchange items.

For stock products we have a 30 day, no quibble return policy, this also applies to sale items and in store purchases. Items must be unworn, with labels attached. Simply fill in the authorisation form here we will confirm the address for you to send it back to us.

Custom made or personalised goods are non-returnable unless the item is faulty or made to incorrect measurements. You must give us the opportunity to adjust, repair or replace faulty or incorrect items before you can claim a refund. We are also unable to accept returns on cut lengths of fabric and we advise ordering swatches prior to ordering large quantities of fabric if you want to check colours and quality.
