Featuring a wool kilt, made in Scotland to the same exacting standards as all our other kilts, the outfit includes shoes, socks. flashes, sgian dubh, belt and buckle, sporran and ghillie shirt.

There's lots of choice too.  Choose shirt, sock and flash colour or upgrade your sgian dubh, flashes or shoes.


Package includes:
Ghillie Shirt. Choose your shirt colour and size.

Belt and Buckle.  Choose your buckle.  Choose from a Lion Rampant, Saltire, or Scots Thistle crest.  Scroll for pictures of each of the buckles.

4 Yard 10oz pure wool kilt. Choose from more than 1,000 different tartans.  If you need a heavier weight tartan or would prefer a 6 or 8 yard kilt, please contact us.

FAQ
Can the ghillie kilt outfit be worn for formal and informal occasions?

    Yes!  Generally Ghillie Kilt Outfits tend to be worn for more informal gatherings but the distinction between a formal and an informal gathering is becoming more blurred and so Ghillie Kilt Outfits are seen in more events.

    If in doubt about whether your outfit will be suitable for your event, we always recommend a quick check with your event organiser.

Is the kilt made of wool?

    Yes!  Some Ghillie Kilt outfits include kilts made from polyviscose, a machine washable, man made material but all our kilt outfits include only woollen kilts, made in Scotland from tartan woven in Scotland.

Should I upgrade to the Ghillie Boots?

    Think about what you are going to use the outfit for and where you are going to be most of the time you have the kilt on.  Will you ever want to use the kilt as part of a more formal outfit with a Prince Charlie  or Argyll jacket?  If so, it makes sense to stick with the shoes.  If you're buying the outfit primarily to use outside, say at Highland Games or other summer festivals, the upgrade to the Ghillie boots probably is worthwhile.  If you're going to be doing lots of dancing, a big Ceilidh is going to be harder work in the boots.

What is a safety Sgian Dubh?

    The safety Sgian Dubh looks like a normal Sgian Dubh but has no blade.  It's ideal if you are travelling or wearing the outfit in other countries where the laws on carrying a knife may be different to your home country.

If you need your items for a specific date please note this on your order within the ‘Order Notes’ section once you have added the item to your shopping basket.

Returns Process 

We hope you love your parcel from Scotland; however, we do understand that sometimes you might need to return or exchange items.

For stock products we have a 30 day, no quibble return policy, this also applies to sale items and in store purchases. Items must be unworn, with labels attached. Simply fill in the authorisation form here we will confirm the address for you to send it back to us.

Custom made or personalised goods are non-returnable unless the item is faulty or made to incorrect measurements. You must give us the opportunity to adjust, repair or replace faulty or incorrect items before you can claim a refund. We are also unable to accept returns on cut lengths of fabric and we advise ordering swatches prior to ordering large quantities of fabric if you want to check colours and quality.
